Blackburn came from two goals behind but still suffered a 4-2 defeat to Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles in their latest pre-season friendly.
Rovers were on the back foot following strikes from Xander Houtkoop and Joey Suk inside the opening 17 minutes before David Goodwillie and Morten Gamst Pedersen levelled the contest with goals either side of half-time.
Grant Hanley's own goal restored the home side's advantage and captain Marnix Kolder sealed the win 14 minutes from time.
Houtkoop tapped home in the 13th minute after the Rovers defence had failed to clear and the striker turned provider four minutes later with a curling cross for Suk to finish first time.
Rovers goalkeeper Mark Bunn limped off injured on the half-hour mark before striker Goodwillie hit the post and then halved the deficit with a 25-yard effort.
Pedersen's free-kick restored parity, but Hanley put through his own net in the 55th minute after Houtkoop had hit the post and Kolder completed the scoring with a close-range finish.
